The safety regulations for landlords and employers say that the shared spaces and appliances, which the tenants or employees will use, need to be safe. The specification on how to keep that safe isn’t specified with electrical PAT testing, however, PAT testing certificate can be used as evidence that the shared appliances fit the electrical safety testing standards. Because of this, landlords and employers get PAT testing done regularly. After testing, PAT testing engineer issues them a PAT testing certificate, showing which appliances the landlord or employer are providing are fitting to the safety standards.
