It all depends on how many electrical items you have! Typically for each item a PAT test takes 2 – 3 minutes.
Each electrical appliance is visually inspected followed by an earth continuity test, lead polarity and insulation resistance checks.
Typically, in a day say the PAT test begins at 9:00am and ends at 5:00pm, 70 – 100 electrical appliances can be PAT tested.
However, you need to take into consideration there may be electrical appliances that fail the PAT test or may be difficult to get a reading from an appliance.
