I had to get a PAT test done in my office as the electrical appliances are in constant use so I wanted to make sure that they are safe to use. I got into contact with the PAT Testing Association and had a meeting arranged for a PAT testing engineer to come into the office. In the office the main electrical appliances that are there are: desktop computers, projectors, laptops, televisions, printers, laptop cables, mobile phone chargers etc. I had a PAT testing engineer visit who tested each appliance through a series of different tests. At the end I was given a certificate with all the results.
I will be getting back in contact with the PAT Testing Association to enquire about when I should have the next PAT test done.
