PAT testing tags are placed on each electrical appliance to show if they have passed or failed the PAT test. They are identifiable as if an electrical appliance has passed the PAT testing, a green sticker is issued. If an appliance has failed the tests, it is issued with a red sticker. The PAT testing tags display the test date, maintenance and identification data at the point of use. These tags can help increase safety as it is clear which electrical appliances can be used and which ones should not be used. If an appliance has failed the PAT test and if it is a danger on your site, the PAT tester is able to have the appliance removed. PAT testing tags are a useful indicator to show which appliances are safe to use and have passed the test and which ones should not be used.
