PAT testing is the testing of electrical appliances ensuring that they are safe to use.
In terms of health and safety, every company and home must oblige to the regulations ensuring that electrical appliances are maintained. The best way in achieving this is to have a PAT test done.
The regulations that need to be complied to are:
· Health and Safety at Work Act of 1974
· The Electricity at Work Regulations of 1989
·The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations of 1998
·The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations of 1999
