A PAT test certificate is what you will receive after the PAT test has been completed. To get a PAT test certificate, all electrical appliances at your place of work or home will go through a series of tests.
These tests include a visual inspection, earth continuity test, lead polarity and insulation resistance checks.
Once each electrical appliance is PAT tested, a sticker is issued which shows if it has passed or failed the tests.
At the end you are given a PAT test certificate which shows the results of all the appliances. This certificate is for you to keep as proof that all appliances have been electrically tested.
